This is one of those books that once you start you can't put it down, a real page turner. It's full of mystery and intrigue and nothing is as it seems. The book makes you question things you may have seen or heard about religions in the past. A fantastic read!!!
Only when I absolutely had to did I put it down. And even then with the goal of coming back to it at the first available chance. This is a great novel, full of intrigue and excitement and also informative about religious history. A fast paced and enjoyable book.
The Sidon Incident is a masterpiece of jaw-dropping excitement and suspense. It's rare to find a great story which weaves the tenets of religion and mystery in such a spell-bounding way. It's like two stories in one gripping tale. You flip flop back and forth wondering what's next for the characters. The Sidon Incident draws on history, religion, geography, foreign languages and science. After reading the book, I was compelled to do further research to supplement my understanding of the stories of old. I couldn't put the book down. The chapters were short which made this a quick read. Overall, it was very enjoyable, educational and extremely exciting.
